Self-Propelled
Self-Propelled wheelchairs are different from the other types of wheelchair as they are designed to be used by the occupant without the help of a care person. The large rear wheels allow the occupant to self-Propel and control the wheelchair with relative ease. However although these wheelchairs have large rear wheels they also have push handles which also allows for someone to push the occupant as well as propelling themselves, Effectively making it dual purpose.
Manual
Designed to be practical and provide basic functionality in an occasional use manual wheelchair. These chairs combine great performance with ease of use, portability and versatility. We have a wide range of manual wheelchairs from Invacare, Karma, Greencare, Ottobock, Sunrise, Breezy and many more.
Tilt-in-Space
These chairs feature adjustable backrests, reclining seats and legrests for superior postural comfort during prolonged use. These chairs are suitable for individuals of different ages, body shapes, and sizes and some are customizable for the best fit. Tilt in space chairs are specifically designed to care and support the individual’s positioning and comfort with a safety mechanism for worry-free use of the tilt function. We currently stock Invacare, REA Azalea, Rea Dahlia, Karma VIP plus many more. As all of our chairs are ex display, recconditioned or part exchanged our stock is always changing. So we may have other chairs in stock from various manufacturers.
